Where can i buy a replacement receiver for my home theater system?

Well, it's no surpise that your receiver has died. It's not really a good quality device. Considering what they cost new, repairing it would actually cost more than buying a new one, I suspect. I couldn't find what type of connections it has, but you can always buy a decent replacement receiver such as a Sony STR-DG520 ($170) & it should be fine. All you have to do is strip the speaker wires and then connect them to the receiver. However, you would still need to buy a seperate replacement dvd player. You can pick up a decent model such as the Sony DVP-NS700H ($80) & it should also be fine. I shop the web site that I linked you all the time. They are the best at what they do.
