Where can I buy a home theater system?

What is the best home theater system for the money and where do I buy it?

  • I'm getting serious about a home theater system. Does anyone have an opinion on which one is best (for the price) and where to buy? I can't afford any of these systems that cost thousands of dollars. I just need a good quality system for an average size family room. The main brands that I see are Bose, Samsung and Panasonic.

    I recently bought the Panasonic-sc-btt770 with 3D Blu-ray and surround sound. I think it's great. Amazon had the best price at the time so that's where I got it. No problem there. I found it at http:panasonichometheater-sc-btt770.com

Those home theater in a box are not very good in quality or reliability. Bose is over priced and is not really a good system for the money. You can not mismatch a Bose system. Home theater in a box are not upgradable and when one item fails you need to replace the whole system and you can not add other electronics to it. The only system I can recommended is the Onkyo HT-S from 3400 to the 9400, which is a receiver and a set of speakers. The 9400 is the only home theater in a box that is recommended by Home Theater Magazine. Hope this will help you out.
