What Is The Problem With My Surround Sound System?

• ok Ive had my surround sound system for about 4-5 years now(i know its old and out dated,but im not replacing it lol) ok about a year ago i started noticing that when i would shut off my system and go to turn it on again when i wanted to use it,no sound would come out,you have to leave it on anywhere from 20 min to 5 hours before you would hear a loud burst or pop,and it would work until i turned it off again.now since i learned all of that i just always left it on and it would always work,but about 3 months ago it started messing up more,it would be turned on and all of a sudden it would go crazy,it would go super loud with weird sounds,the sound would fade out,it would pop a lot and just do crazy stuff. i know it has to be something blown on my mother board probably,does anybody know what transistor or little gizmo that could be going bad? my brother can replace all those little things on a mother board and stuff,so i wanna try n fix it before i throw it away and have only tv sound :(

  The AMPLIFIER fit inside your system is acting up. In USA, we don't find many cheap repair shops. So the best thing would be to throw the amplifier away and buy another receiver and KEEP your speakers.
