How do I convert copyrighted VHS to DVD?

  • I have a load of VHS movies that I purchased that I would like to convert to DVD to ensure their longevity. HOWEVER, I do not want to use a video camera, my computer, or a 3rd party. 10 points to whoever gives me a step by step process -including potential additional products needed to remove the macrovision - to connect a regular VCR to a stand alone DVD recorder to make this happen.

    ive used an older, inexpensive magnavox dvd recorder with a vhs player in it also. it will record from vhs to dvd directly for that purpose. it will also record anything else connected to its inputs to dvd or vhs. get something like that
