How do I connect my new speakers to my computer?

How do I connect my computer bass speakers to my TV?

• I want to connect my bass speakers with Pink & Green cables to my HDTV which has a headphone jack. When I connect just the Green cable into the headphone jack the sound plays through the 2 speakers but not through the woofer. How can I fix this?

  sounds like you cannot. I assume that the pink and green cables are designed to go to a special card in the PC and this card splits the high/low sounds to go to the correct speaker.... in theory, you could get a 2 into 1 doubler (maplin), not a stereo left/right splitter but it would not guarantee that it will result in a good/balenced sound or that no damage will result (though unlikely). These speakers are not designed to be connected in parallel/together as you want. A single connection PC speaker set ( two small ones and bass unit) would be a better purchase and that will look after the balence (talking 20-30 pounds or you can pay more if you want..), see PC world.
