My blu ray player isn't working?

My Blu Ray player isnt working, what do i do if i cant find my guarantee or my receipt for my blu ray player?

    Hi, First if the unit powers up I would check the manufactures web site for the current firmware download it and install it if it is more current than the firmware on your player. My Sony stopped playing blue rays yesterday and I updated the firmware and it plays like a champ now. If that does not work or your player wont even power up, then I would contact the manufacture to see if they can help.

How long have you been using the player? Go to the manufacturer's website and click on support or get their email and state your case. Write down the model number, serial number. They might ask where you bought it and when. If your lucky they will arrange for a replacement however you might pay for the return delivery cost.
