Can hdmi cables work with a sony trinitron tv?

its a standard def tv and flat screen sony trinitron will it work with playstation 3 hdmi cables?

If the Sony has HDMI inputs(Look like USB), then yes. If I'm not mistaken though, those older TV's do not have HDMI inputs. If it's standard def, then it doesn't support HD, blu-ray etc, so it will not have HDMI inputs. So, no HDMI cables will not work with it.

If you have the hdmi input I dont see why it wouldnt.. it just wouldnt be high definition.. which means your tv prob. doesnt have the hdmi inputs/outputs
