Wiring information for LCD TV, DVD, Amplifier, speaker and woofer?

• I am planning to construct a wooden framework for my LCD TV and just want to know the wiring connectivity. I just want to know the wiring connectivity among following components except the power supply (I mean I want to know the audio and video cable wiring diagram). LCD TV DVD Player + Amplifier (This is in a single box) Speaker (Front and Back) Woofer Dish TV e.g The video output of dish tv goes to LCD TV. Just want to know the same for other components.   You are not getting many answers because you have a compromised system. You have a HDTV but: - you have a standard def DishTV box - you have an el-cheepo dvd/receiver combo that wont even accept 5.1 sound from your HDTV - you are trying to construct a custom cabinet for equipment that needs upgrading. (sigh) Here is what you do: DVD to TV: use svideo cable Dish to TV: use svideo cable, use L/R RCA cables to the DVD Player + Amplifier (if it even has inputs - many of these dont) Put the DVD Player + Ampliifer on the lowest shelf. This allows the speaker wires to flow out and away from everything else. Put the Dish box above this. Try to make 3 bundles of your wires: - AC Power cords - pull them all to 1 side and mount a power stripg - Speaker wires - these should flow out and away from all other wires - Interconnects: These should be loosely bundled to keep them away from AC power cords and speaker wires. Strong suggestion: Go out and measure a full-sized AV Receiver, a PS3 or standard DVD player, and get the dimenions for a HD Dish PVR from the Dish website. Construct the cabinet to handle these more generic/better equipment. The future-proof layout is as follows: - Receiver on lowest shelf - DishTV box above the receiver - DVD player/Game system on higher shelves (so you dont have to bend over too much to interact with them)
