I'm looking for a good BMX, any suggestions?

Im looking for a good surround sound system. Suggestions?

  • What Im really looking for is actually a system that lets me hear all around me. Straight forward right, but I have seen systems just make it louder or all at once. I mostly play games so as example, if theres a helicopter behind me I want to hear it ''behind'' me. Also it is mostly for games but Id like one good for tv too. Also around $100 maybe a little over. Any suggestions or tips?

When it comes to any surround sound system, if its for a device that's like a PS3 and has an optical drive, make sure the surround sound has the optical input. This will greatly improve the sound quality and perception for surround sound and will be a true 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system. In an attempt to get a good system for $100 if its just for games, you may want to look into Computer Surround Sound. They may not come with the optical drive, but your getting surround sound on a budget so you get what you pay for. The reason why computer surround sound is cheaper is because the speakers are smaller and usually come with a 6-8" down firing subwoofer which should be enough for you if your room isn't large. If the room your wanting the surround sound in is larger than a 15'x15' then I would not suggest the Computer setup as it may not be loud enough for your style. The last attempt to get a very good system on a budget is to buy a very nice 5.1 or 7.1 unit without the speakers. Now if you are slightly crafty, you can choose the exact size speakers that would best fit your room and whenever you piece together your own system, you save a lot of money and it will end up sounding as good or better than that $1000+ surround sound systems. ( I use car speakers for my setup using component speakers and a 10" sub in a ported box. I made my own boxes and with bondo and paint there are no flaws and with 10 coats of clear coat they look better than any surround sound system I have ever seen. [Be sure to pay attention to the RMS values] )

Hi blackcat! Well, a few months ago I received my 5-year anniversary gift from work which is a Sony surround sound system. I've always been told Sony is a descent enough brand and like it rather well! I don't know if this helps you as far as brand goes. Downside to this, I was not able to hook this up for my Wii system, the guy at my local computer store knew the answer, basically Wii doesn't make that set up, but I'm sure you've got something else for your hard core gaming (we all know Wii isn't big on that aspect of gaming, if any at all.) So that's my vote! But if I was in your situation, I'd go to a computer store or to my local techy person that would know what system to put what with what you are looking for. Good luck!
