How do i get blu-ray to work?

Help with a toshiba bluray player remote?!?

• I recently bought a bluray player, however, it was from a store going out of business and it was an as is purchase. The only thing wrong with it was that there was no remote. We thought simple fix, buy a universal remote. We did that, but we cannot find a code anywhere for the bluray player we have. It's a toshiba BDX2000. Anyone know of a way to reorder this remote or to get a code for a universal remote. I've tried contacting toshiba but I just get transferred a million times and put on hold, all ending with no real answer. If there is no way someone please just let me know so i quit wasting time trying to find out and thinking I'll get a remote to work. We've already tried buying 2 different types of universal remotes
