How much does Showtime cost per month?

Cost to add one Direct TV Receiver? Am I being swindled?

• So I recently moved in to someones back house and upon moving in, they mentioned possibly putting in a receiver for Direct TV for me, since they had an extra room on their account that they weren't using. So after a few months, they ended up putting in the receiver, running the line from the dish that was already in place on the house in front. After about another month, I get a letter from my landlord saying that since the Direct TV service was not in the original renter's contract, I would have to pay extra for it and if I want to keep the service as is (Choice Ultimate Package with Starz and Showtime) I would have to pay something like $130.00 per month to them. I was under the impression that adding one extra receiver would add only a small cost to the existing service every month! So I guess my question is, was I mistaken and this is how much an extra receiver adds to the bill or are they trying to make me pay their satellite bill for them? Any Information is greatly appreciated.

  An extra Directv receiver costs $5/mo. They are trying to get you to pay the whole bill - their tvs included, plus rent. They are hosing you - and it is illegal. They can not resell Directv to you. They sound like real scumbags to even try to get you to pay for this.
