Wireless subwoofer adapter?

How do I use the subwoofer for rear as well as front speakers playing different audio streams?

  • Ok my setup is as follows: I have a Creative 5.1 speaker system. Out of the 5 speakers, I am using 4 at the moment. I want to connect 2 of these (ie the 2 that are plugged into the ports labelled "front" in the subwoofer) to my desktop computer and the other 2 (ie the 2 that are plugged into the "rear" ports of the subwoofer) to my PS3 using a Y-adapter & and a stereo coupler. When I play music on my computer it sounds great and uses the subwoofer for a good bass effect. However the same music on my PS3 sounds tinny and it seems as if the subwoofer is not being used at all. What is the problem and how do I fix it? Thanks!

  • Answer:

Your are in violation of the laws of audio. It seems like you are not wiring them to the sub anymore. You have to because the amps for all speakers are inside the sub.

This unit is not meant to do this only for computers really you may be geting the pitchy sound because of the confusion of the set-up. Please if you want the sound for your PS3 get a HTIB and call it quits.
