Which is the best Polk or Jbl?

JBL or Polk Setup, help please!?

  • JBL or Polk setup? give your opinions people!? Buying a Pioneer VSX-1120-K or a Yamaha RX-V667 receiver. JBL L890CH fronts Polk Audio RTI A7 fronts Polk Audio TSi500 fronts best choice? JBL L830CH rear speakers Polk tsi200 rear? which are best? JBL ES250PCH subwoofer...pretty much like this one! and finally which center speaker would be best? Polk cs20 JBL LCICH or a center smaller, cheaper, and sounds amazing with these other speakers. thanks for the advice!

If we were referring to entry level speakers, I would probably recommend the Polk Audio speakers since you're able to get more bang for your buck with their economy speakers than with JBL's cheaper stuff. But since you are looking for more expensive speakers, I would most definitely suggest going with the JBL speakers. I would also like to point out that while Pioneer does make some nice car audio equipment, their home audio products aren't very impressive outside of their Elite series components. If I were you I would lean toward the Yamaha receiver and forget about the Pioneer. You will get much better sound.

In my opinion JBL is the way to go. I just don't like the sound of polks as much as I do JBL. You should do a comparason to see witch one YOUR ear likes more
