Stereo speaker set up questions.

I need to set my Blu-Ray player to a 2 speaker set up.?

• I put my dad's Blu-ray player in my room. I have it hooked up to my 2 speaker stereo set-up, but when watching Blu-ray movies, they run in 5.1 "Tru HD" sound stuff that makes it hard to hear stuff like music. You can hear voices and singing great, but instruments get drowned out, and things are hard to hear sometimes. I even have options set to "Digital Stereo" and everything. What can I do so it runs on a 2.1 speaker set up?

  You should be able to access the menu when you put in a disc to do that. Since you didn't specify your equipment, I cannot look up manuals & read up on it. Most of the newest Blu-ray discs are going to default to an HD 5.1 format.
