How can I turn on the sound on my cam?

How can I turn on Surround Sound in Windows 7?

• I bought some Logitech surround sound speakers. Has a sub woofer and 5 little speakers hooked to it. I have them plugged into the front of my laptop, and only some of the speakers will work. So I tried to adjust my sound settings. I went to Start, then typed "sound" in the search bar. I clicked on "Sound." Then "Headphones," because that's how my laptop seems to recognize my speakers. (There are three headphone jacks that plug into the front of laptop.) Then "configure." There's a speaker test that tests right and left, and of course I get a sound from both right and left. Then I click "next." On the next page there are two boxes. One says "Front left and right." And one says 'Surround sound." But the Surround sound box is grayed out. I can't click it. And so I can't hear my songs in surround sound. Which sucks, cause I have a huge collection of awesome music on my laptop. :( I've searched for answers, but haven't found any that work. Does anybody know what to do about this?

  Locate the soft wear for your sound card and see if there are settings there, find out what sound card you have and look it up on the net there may be a download you have to do before its updated to play in surround also your sound card may not be capable of doing surround just because the computer has the plugs doesn't mean that the sound card does, they may have an upgrade available with a better sound card that you did not get... but if you can figure out what sound card you have you can find the answers....
