Best Music System that is better then Bose?

What Better Bose Wave music system or the Bose Acoustic Wave music systems?

    "Better" is not relevant when talking about the sound quality of anything from Bose. If you want to buy Bose, then you will be buying it because of the way it looks, not because of the way it sounds (and anything made by Bose sounds lousy, anyway). Sound quality is not important to people who buy Bose equipment. Buy Other Stereo Equipment

Lol... neither? When it comes to Bose, they just change the name and raise the price. Customer's imaginations make it seem better... boom, profits! To be honest, Bose has the market by the throat, and their marketing department is brilliant. Anyways, they both sound bad. Might I recommend a pair of AudioEngine A2 or A5 speakers? They both sound much better... for much less $$$. Also, AudioEngine speakers are made in the USA... Bose is made in (Can you Guess?) CHINA! Yay! How about a pair of Rokit powered studio monitors? They're also cheaper... and still better. Or a pair of M-Audio AV40s? They're way way cheaper at just $160-ish online and they're still better than Bose! Okay, I'm done now. If you like spending alot of money on junk that your friends will think is good, then by all means go get bose. If you like spending a little less money on something that actually sounds good, will last longer, and is made here in the US, go with AudioEngine. Or one of the other brands I mentioned. Good luck

As the other posters stated Do NOT buy Bose, you are wasting your money. For the same price you could get an Onkyo HT-S3400 http://www.amazon.com/Onkyo-HT-S3400-Channel-Theater-Receiver/dp/B004O0TRDI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1312732312&sr=8-1 for half the money and it would sound better. Plus you can upgrade the speakers later. Also you could add a Top quailty blu-ray player and still at the same price as the Bose system. However if you do not have an HD tv the Blu ray player Won't matter.

none are great due all of bose stuff are over rated and over priced junk,, save your money and get a proper sound system
