My tv is connected to a surround sound dvd system, something happened - now there is no sound when I watch tv?
-
It had been working, but today when we turned it on there was no sound. The volume button says we are turning it up, but we cant hear anything. We have a remote for the tv, the cable box and the surround sound system. We have tried using all of them to search menu and fix it. Any clues as to how we can get it to work?

Answer:
it definitely sounds like a menu issue! use the controls themselves when troubleshooting if you can! or a wired connection has failed! but i would go with the menu first! i repair electronics and will assist you through e mail if you need it! but i doubt you will. it's a simple fix,you will find it!

Did you hit the mute button by mistake? Is it set for the tv input? Do you get anything if you switch over to the radio?
