How do I connect my ipod nano to my Bose speakers?

  • I have the new 6th generation ipod nano (really small) and it fits fine on my Bose speakers but it doesn't get signal to the radio when i plug it in. It says that i need to plug in the headphones but i don't want to plug in the headphones. Any help? thanks :)

    they make it after you can buy on ebay they converts from your headphone jack to audio video cables did you plug in the back of the bose

There are simple cables you can buy all over the place (easiest place is RadioShack, cheapest is Internet) that has one side headphone cable and the other stereo for receivers (that side usually has 2 plugs: one red, one white). Then just hook the headphone side into the headphone jack of your ipod and the red/white to an audio jack on your bose. Done, you have radio. The reason it probably won't work with a cradle is that being hooked to the base of the bose system probably scrambles the potential radio signal, so you need a corded connection.
