How to use RCA cables?

How can i use rca cables with an hdmi monitor.

I am trying to play my wii on my computer monitor. I have a nice monitor but it only has a vga and dvi input. I want to play it on there so i don't have to buy a new tv. I was trying to figure a way to use hdmi to plug into the monitor with an hdmi to dvi cord. The only problem is the rca cables. I need to find a way to get then to be compatable with the hdmi. I've got the sound taken care of. I just want the video to work. Computer is not an option. I tried. To much lag time. Any Help?
