Will this system sound good. sub woofer help?

Why did my living room surround sound system stop working : (?

The Sound is only coming out of the Sub-woofer? I was watching "300" on max volume and then just as the burning smell reached my nose the speakers quit working?! I just need some general likely causes/ solutions. It may just need a new fuse. Since this one is out of commission i am moving this dvd / surround sound system from the bedroom into the living room ( it is the kind that has individual speakers that connect to the back of dvd player). 2nd Question, for this type of surround, is there anyway i can get my PS3 to hook with it so i can watch blue ray, or will the surround "sound" only come from that dvd player/dvd....... Any help would be cool... thanks in advance... I may just say _____ it and get a new one.

I don't know, but I'm sorry :((.................. Buy a new one buy a new one!:D Then invite me over to watch horror movies with the awesome surround sound....That'd be freaking awesome:O!!!!
