VGA cord from laptop to projector. How do i get audio from the projector speakers?
-
Hi there, i just bought a cord with a VGA attachment on both sides to connect from my laptop to my projector. I attached it and i am getting the video, but the audio only seems to come from my laptop. How do i get it to come out of the surround sound speakers attached to the projector?

Answer:
VGA does not carry audio, your laptop will have an audio output which will probably need a 3.5mm stereo jack. This will need an adapter to plug into the projector inputs
