I have a samsung dvr without hdmi. whats the best connection over to the home theater system.?

I also have a plasma which has hdmi in, that I can run from the hdmi on the home theater system

Answer:
Without HDMI, the next choice would be DVI provided your home theater has it. You will need a DVI to HDMI adapter to connect to your display. If neither is available, then component video is the next best choice. I've linked to a hookup guide and info on cable connections below to help you.
