Seadoo vs Yamaha: Which is better?

Yamaha RX-V465 receiver with Klipsch 300 home theater system vs. Yamaha YHT-391 home theater system?

  • I bought the Yamaha receiver/Klipsch home theater system for around $550. And I haven't put the thing together just yet because I just saw an add in Best Buy's sales papers for a Yamaha YHT-391 Home Theater system (receiver and speakers w/ sub) for $350. Money is an issue for me, and I don't want buyer's remorse, so I was wondering if I should return my purchase and go for the Yamaha home theater system instead, unless the difference in the quality of sound of my RX-V465/Klipsch300 is that much better than the YHT-391 system. Anyone have any input?

    In the audio world $200 is not a large difference in price for an entire system but the difference you will experience between the Klipsch and YHT systems is large. Keep what you have. Over time you will thank yourself that you got the better system.

Stay with the Yamaha receiver and Klipsch speakers its a much better system and gives you more options for any add ons later (PS3 Xbox etc)
