When connecting surround sound components together which connections do you use?

Connecting surround sound to TV via 3.5mm cables?

  • Hi, I have a logitech 5.1 surround sound system that I normally use for my computer but recently on purchasing a new TV I was wondering if there was any way to hook it up to it and still maintain surround sound It uses x3 3.5mm cables (front, centre, rear), the closest thing to this on the TV is a single 3.5mm headphone jack on the side, is there any sort of adapter I can buy to combine these 3 into an alternative connection that will keep the surround sound (It has component RGB, RGB, scart, hdmi, coaxial connections etc.)

  • Answer:

Don't you have an active sub-woofer that these speakers plug into,as you would have to use this also.
