How can I make my S-Video work from my computer to my dvd player to my tv?
-
My TV is old, and the DVD player is hooked up through my VCR. The DVD player is a magnavox and is S-Video capable, but when I hook it up and set my computer up it will not play. I know the settings already because my old tv was able to hook right up to the computer, but that one broke. That is why I bought a DVD player with S-Video. HELP.

Answer:
Just buy an RF modulator with s-video input. You can connect the PC 's s-video out to the TV directly through the modulator.

DVD player only sends S-video signals out. I don't know of any DVD player that has an S-video line in. Your DVD player might or might not have composite AV input(s), in which case you can buy a simple S-video to composite adapter to use, although you may lose some picture quality that way.
