How to connect VGA to RCA?

How do I connect my VGA to RCA cable to my TV and get the image to show up?

• I just bought a VGA to RCA cable so I could watch the movies from my laptop on my TV. I plugged in both ends and I tried the Function+F5 and nothing happens. Any help please????

  Jenny - Sorry to say but those cables do not work in most cases. If your cable is a VGA to three rca connectors that is the type that does not work.
