How do I hook up my Ps3 to my tv and a phillips home stereo system.?

I have an Emerson tv and a phillips home stereo system. I have a 80 Gb PS3. I have the stereo system hooked up to my tv and to my dish network box. So I have sound coming out my speakers when Im watching my Tv but Im having problems getting it to work with my PS3. Thanks
