I have surround sound system, do i have to buy special lead to connect sky hd box from digital audio output?

Answer:
There are two main digital audio connectors, there is the fiber-optic(red light seen through connector) and SPDIF(looks like RCA or component, but generally orange). If your HD box and the surround system have the same connector you're good to go. If they do not there is another way to go about connecting. You can connect through your TV if it has an audio out, surround audio can still be transmitted though the old red and white audio connectors. Most equipment has at the very least the red/white rca inputs. There may also be converters from digital to analog.
