Best VIDEO FILE FORMAT to convert 3GP File to view on DVD PLAYERS?

  • i have a convertion software that can convert 3gp files into all sorts of files, i tried converting my 3gp clip to a vob file and its fine, my plan is to burn it onto a cd and watch the clip on tv through a dvd player. however i want to know what is the BEST type of format to use in order to get the best quality from a dvd player. i know it depends on the DVD PLAYER but im speaking in general for all dvd players which have built in formats. which format is the best to convert 3gp files to view on tv through dvd players? and type of sound? and size?

    All DVD Players will play files coded using the MPEG codec. However, the format is called "DVD-Video" and the MPEG files are encpsulated in .vob files. Most 3GP files are of very low resolution and bit rate. On a big TV, they will probably look very bad.
