Can DVD players play Hi Def 1080p video through its USB flash drive?

I have a high def movie file on my usb flash drive - will it play in high def (my TV is capable) through the usb drive?

you should be able to if there is a usb port on the dvd player or the tv.. some tv's have the usb connection... now if you have a ps3 yes you can do it

I believe not, unless your DVD player has an HDMI output connected to your TV.
