I have set up my surround sound speakers but my back (surround sound) speakers don't play for the TV- change?

I'm not sure of your exact problem here. Do the back speakers work at all, or only when you use the DVD player? One solution could be the hook-ups. Did your surround sound speakers come with different colors of hook-pins [green, black, orange/yellow] or one insert for all speakers? If there were multiple colors, and only some of those have been hooked in, you will not hear sound out of certain speakers. You may need an adapter to convert your RCA plugs [speaker plugs] into a single 1/8 plug to hear all your speakers. Especially if your surround sound speakers are Logitech. A couple of things that could have caused this: If you haven't turned off your 'B" speakers If you are in stereo mode. Hope one of these is your problem!

Well first - TV shows do not have a lot of rear channel sound. Only some of the cable channels or HBO movies might use the rear speakers. I suspect this is your problem. Try one of the DSP modes (hall, church) to see if your receiver will send more sounds to the rear.
