Stereo tuner help wont work well.?
-
this tuner is from the 70s, so i just got it fixed for it dieing and i tried to hook it up to its speakers. well firs the sound was fuzzy and after toying with the bass and treble knobs and got the sound clear......and then it died. so i tried hooking it up to the sub woofer (it has its own power source). i got sound. so the problem is that there is no power going to the speakers. i think its a blown fuse, witch is what i took it in for the first time, should i replace the fuse or get a new tuner.

Answer:
Well you may want to talk to the technician that worked on the tuner, let him know that it died again. Seems like all he did was replace the fuse(if a fuse was blown),fixing it temporarily, instead of fixing the original problem...what ever was making the fuse blow.
