What is more advanced, S-video or the banana plugs with one yellow video input and two R and L audio inputs?
-
Just trying to determine which would give me better quality video from my DVD player, the S-video input from the DVD, or the one where it is one yellow video banana plug input with two R and L audio inputs (red and black). The S-video for audio would also have the two R and L audio inputs (red and black).

Answer:
S video was supposed to be the better choice but realistically they are essentially the same in fact both signals are analog and s-video uses thinner wiring so I use component the cabling is cheaper and the difference is humanly unnoticeable.
