Are samsung Speakers good?

Anyone who bought or has heard of a review for samsung speakers, are they good? are they as good as bose or anything company that specializes in speaker systems. I'm getting a onkyo receiver so no need to worry about that. Thank you

    I'm afraid not. Samsung makes fantastic televisions, some good BluRay players. But speakers ... are kind of cheap toss-ins to sell packaged systems. (Same with Sony and Yamaha). This is why you will NOT find any review of these speakers - they are just not good enough to be worth reviewing (or in your case - buying). Look for small speaker sets from real speaker companies (companies that make speakers as their main business). Look into Polk, Definitive, Energy, B&W, Klipsch, etc.

Not very many Asia speakers are any good especially the typical mass market brands. Usher Audio in Taiwan is one of only a few exceptions. When it comes to speakers, get away from the whole brand recognition thing. The best speakers will be made by brands you have never heard of before and will never find in stores like Best Buy. The common names like Samsung, Sony, and all the others are really pretty bad. mk
