I believe VLC media player can do it but you have to load the files sepratly to do so. I can't see why you don't want PowerDVD, I used to use it and I thought it was great. A little awkward to use at times and the basic version had pop-ups but once you got a picture on it was impressive,.

I have an LG-CH10LS20. I purchased it retail (First time) and it came with, well... I would say about 200$ worth of software. It came with CyberLink's PowerDVD 8, which, I can see you said you didn't want... BUT, I was VERY impressed with it. It supports Blu-Ray and the picture looks great. It has plenty of options and runs seamlessly on my PC. If you have your mind set on anything but PowerDVD, then here's a site that has a bunch of different players http://www.blu-ray-soft.com/
