Garalex2122, I am afraid your case is similar to mine... Did you buy your so-called "HDTV" 50 inch back in 1-2 years ago where as your TV doesn't come with HDMI port but DVI? If it's DVI, can you check your TV manual to see whether you have HDCP built-in, if not....congratulations! Your TV will not accept HDMI-to-DVI cable from monster... because your TV does not have HDCP enabled... Mine 42" is like that and I paid a fortune for it... I am waiting for GameSwitch to solve my problem... and I may phone KVM Australia first to see whether they have stock... also heard MSY is going to distribute... good luck to you too. Hope your TV has HDCP chipset built-in...

Either the HDMI to DVI or Component will look stellar. The HDMI is slightly better, but you probably won't be able to visually tell the difference.

I own a 61 inch song wide screen. To achieve the best quality I would most definatly steer clear of cheaper model AV cables the better the quality the better your picture will be. I suggest Monster, or something brand name. HDMI transmits a better video quality, where DVI transfers a better sound quality I would def go with HDMI

The best functionality would be found via HDMI. This assumes that your TV has a HDMI input jack of course. Depending on how old your HDTV is you might only have a DVI connection. HDMI is the better way to go as you would be using a single cable to transfer digitial video AND audio to your TV. Monster Cable is overpriced wire. You are paying for the "name" and the marketing. I suggest visiting www.monoprice.com to see how much people are overpaying by thinking Monster Cable is the "must-have" cable. Wire is wire as long as it's of the same gauge.

HDMI is the way to go. HDMI to DVI if thats what your tv takes. Component if it doesnt have that. HDMI is digital audio and video. DVI is digital video with no audio. Component is all analog. No you dont need monster products. I have them but thats just me. Acoustic Research will do just fine. So go HDMI without a doubt.
