How do I set up a analog home theater to my digital TV?
-
Hi i recently bought a new TV its a Sony 55NX720, and I have a home theater its a Sony DAV DX255. I'm having trouble hooking it up, because the new TV will only accept digital audio, and my home theater only has analog audio.

Your home theater should have the video and audio connect for you to connect it to the tv. Those home theater in a box are not flexible for adding anything to them or for upgrading. TV today only provides you an optical audio output for audio connect. This has to be connect to a receiver or a home theater in a box with an optical audio input or a sound bar. It is a digital signal with multi channel sound. Analog only provides you a single channel. This is a common issue with those home theater in a box. Hope this will help you out.

There are aftermarket DACs(digital to analog converters) that can help but most digital TVs will have rca jacks(anaolog) for audio in
