Cheapest home cinema system with optical inputs.

"Home-Cinema" system, RCA-Phono lead from TV, but it needs PC 3.5mm inputs - which adaptor, exactly?

• Hi, Like it says, the Panasonic TV has Phono-outputs (JUST RED AND WHITE) that I want to use to feed the sound-signal into a 5.1 surround-sound system, but it seems it's been built more for PC use, as it has 3.5mm Jack inputs (GREEN FOR "FRONT", BLACK FOR "REAR", AND A PALE ORANGE JACK FOR "SUB/CENTER") - has anyone met this problem before, and can you tell me what adaptors overcome it? It's actually my Cousins', we bought the 5.1 in Maplins, and I guess that is where we will have to return to for the adaptors - but does anyone know EXACTLY what is needed? Many thanks.

Anyone who has mistakenly bought a PC speaker system and tried to hook it up to a television will have met that problem before. "and can you tell me what adaptors overcome it?" There are none. The problem cannot be overcome. "but does anyone know EXACTLY what is needed?" A home cinema system, designed for use with a television is what's needed.
