How do I connect my old subwoofer to my new speakers?

How do i connect my active subwoofer to my speakers?

• i bought these speakers a few years ago: http://www.theaudioworksuk.com/index.php/citronic-hs120usb-240w-dj-monitor-system-with-usb-mp3-player.html and have just bought this active subwoofer: http://mstronics.com/product.php?product=13448 ive given the links so you can see the connections we're working with. there are no binding posts on the sub as the picture shows, just the line in and out. from what ive read, i should be attaching the sub to something which doesnt exist on the amp of my other speakers. would plugging the line in from speaker amp into line out of sub, and line in from sub into mp3 player etc. work? or should i get a line spliter and have the music device plugged into the line in of both amp and sub? any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
