Where To Watch Online 3d Movies?

Do I need a 3D TV in order to watch Blu Ray 3D movies on my PS3?

  • I have a PS3, which we all know plays Blu ray movies, and I decided to take the opportunity to finally get some Blu Ray movies considering that I can. Now with the whole 3D gimmick getting popular, I wanted to get Jackass 3D (in 3D of course) on Blu Ray and my little brother wanted to get Transformers Dark of the Moon for the Blu Ray in 3D (when the Blu Ray for it comes out in 3D). But I am not sure if you need a 3D television in order to watch the 3D versions of these movies. Some people said you need a 3D TV to watch them in 3D, but other people said since the movies themselves are already in 3D then you do not in fact need a 3D TV to watch these movies in 3D. Can anyone please tell me if I really do need a 3D television in order to watch these 3D Blu Ray movies in 3D? and I said the word "3D" 18 times, of course counting that time I said just now in this sentence. lol

    To watch a 3D movie you will need a 3D HDTV, 3D blu ray disc player, 3D blu ray disc movie and 3D glasses. Keep in mind that there are only about 55 movie titles in 3D at this time. The price of 3D is higher than that of the standard blu ray disc movie. Go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on 3D tvs. In last month issue of the magazine they reviewed 3 3D tv from Panasonic, model ST30, GT20 and the top of the line VT30. For 2010 they named the Panasonic Plasma tv model VT25 in 3D as the best tv. For 2009 it was the Pioneer Elite KURO, also a Plasma tv. If you read yahoo questions, you will notice that 95% of tv problems comes from LCD/LED tv and 95% of those are the bargain price tv. Hope this will help you out.

You definitely need a 3D TV or display to watch content in 3D. As a PS3 fan it might be worth taking a look at the new Sony 3D display when it gets released (should be sometime in next 2-3 months). You'll be able to hook up to your PS3 to watch 3D movies + it uses Sony's solution for dual player gaming with no split screen.
