How Blu-ray discs are so resistant to scratches?

Ripping Bluray Discs.?

  • I don't have a bluray drive and I don't have the money to buy one right now. I do however have a ps3. Using ps3 SAK I ripped the bluray disc to my external HDD and it put it into 5 different files: bluray.aa bluray.ab bluray.ac bluray.ad bluray.ae. What can i do with these files now? I tried changing the .aa .ab etc. to .iso, Mounting them with dameon tools, and playing the m2ts in VLC but no go. Does it have something to do with them still being protected. If so, is there a way to use AnyDVD HD to unprotect them even if i dont have a bluray drive for my computer. i.e is there a way to load files on the HDD into AnyDVD HD. If there is a better way to do it please let me know as well. Thanks for any answers!
