How do i hook up my Surround OSund to my Westing House LCD TV to my surround Sound?

I have a Westing House 26 Inch TV. I have had my surround sound for about 8 months and i need to find out how to hook up my surround sound to my TV. I have the S-Video hooked up and everything. Now this surround sound so far has just played my PS2 in surround sound. I really want to get it so i can hear my tv in surround sound to. If you can please help me it would be really appreciative.

Simple, look for the digital audio output on your TV. It is either an RCA jack that uses coax cable or a square fiber optic Toslink connector. Run that to an input on your receiver and you will get surround sound on any TV channel that broadcasts it.
