How do i get sound from my projector to computer speakers?
-
Hi, I have a projector which I have hooked up my cable television to and the sound is being played from the projector (poorly). I have a set of computer speakers with a sub that I want to connect to my projector. There is an audio out jack but when I plug the speakers into that, it doesn't work. What kind of cable/converter would I need to plug the speakers into the projector.

Answer:
Majority of the projectors in the market today does not have any output or input for an audio. Check the owners manual of the projector. Your cable box should have an audio port for you to connect an audio to it, either through HDMI cable, optical or rca jacks. Normally computer speakers only have the mini jack (head phone jacks) for audio connection. Beside that they offer very little power for sound. Hope this will help you out.
