Answer:
You don't say how much you want to spend, which is quite an important factor ! I don't have great experience with hi-fi speakers, but I can say that for many people, Bose are very over-priced for the quality, and this is certainly the case with PA speakers, mid-range speakers for top end price. If you don't plan to spend much money, take advice from others on the make & model, and try to buy them used on Ebay, especially if you can get them local and hear them before you bid. I've bought many used audio items at a fraction of the new price & not had a bad item so far. I'm one of the many people who think surround sound is way overrated, we are predators and our ears face to the front, how many concerts have some of the orchestra/band behind the audience ? You will only hear a fraction of the sound from speakers placed behind you, so I think they are a poor investment.

When choosing a speaker, you should demo them with your own source of music and only listen to one song on each speaker you are interested in. Stay with name brand speakers like: Energy, JBL, Infinity, Klipsch and Polk audio to name a few. Most receivers can handle the 4 to 8 ohm speakers, and majority of the speakers for home audio out in the market are 8 ohms. Power rating is not really a factor, due to your receiver can only handle 65 watts rms, and most speakers can handle that and more. Hope this will help you out.

you will need speakers which are 65w rms @ 8 ohms each what is the point in having 2 or 3 speakers when the receiver is capable of handling 5 speakers for a complete surround sound system, the rear speakers dont have to big, small bookshelf speakers is just needed and 2 larger speakers for the front and dont forget about a centre speaker and you only need a sub if the speakers are small and dont have a lot of bass i have got speakers all over the living room and you dont notice the speaker cables due to they are next to the skirting boards
