Best Home Theater System (HTIB?

Could you incorporate this home theater in a box system with satellite services like directv ?

    The cable receiver will be hooked up directly to the TV. So you will get video & audio out of the TV. That HTIB does not have audio inputs so you can't use it while watching TV for audio. You will only get surround sound with DVD & CD discs.

yes, but you'll have to settle for analog stereo sound unless your satellite reciever box has optical audio out. i looked up the manual at http://books.jvcservice.com/download/131347803/39021.pdf you'll get s-video, composite video or component video outputs (but your only options for inputs are s- or component video) with optical digital or stereo analog audio.
