Can I add 2 more speakers to cd player?

I want to add two speakers to my AIWA 3CD?

I have the CD player on the attached website and I'm gonna buy the same CD player and add the 2 speakers of that system to my system. Is it worth it. aka- will there be enough power to the other speakers to make a difference in my room? That usually isnt a good idea, Compact Stereo system's are built with enough power to send equal signal to each of the two loudspeakers that come with the stereo, adding more speakers would just lower signal strength.. and could blow out speakers if impedance isnt matched correctly.
