  • Answer:

1: Connect PC to TV using PC out (from pc) to PC in (TV) or use HDMI option. 2: Connect PS3 to TV using HDMI connection. 3: Connect TV to Home Theater. Use TV audio optical out to Home Theater optical in. 4: Connect Home Theater HDMI out to TV HDMI in.

So your home theater has both optical digital audio and coaxial digital audio inputs (for a total of two digital audio inputs)? If so you would connect one device - tv or ps3 via optical digital audio. You would need a optical to coaxial digital adapter for the other device. http://www.kenable.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3110 As for your PC, does it have the capability of audio output via HDMI? If so, make sure that is enabled. Once you do that your tv should be able to output audio via the digital optical audio output to your sound system. If it does not then you will have to connect up to your sound card output ( which you do not state if you have or not). This would require red and white RCA inputs on your surround sound system.

home cinema system in a box which are just a waste of time you will have problems trying to connect anything to it,, you should have bought a proper AV RECEIVER and building your system around that, atleast you wont have any problems trying to connect it together
