How do 3d glasses work?

How can I get my 3D glasses to work?

  • I have a ZD101 DLP Link 3D Glasses and a Vivitek D512 onkyo hts5400 projector. I also have a 3D blueray player. I have it all hooked up (except the glasses) and the screen looks like it would be in 3D, but I can't get the glasses to work. I turn on my glasses and put them on but there's no difference. I have a 3D blueray movie in on a 3D blueray, and it's connected to a 3D projector (and it's in 3D mode), but how can I get the glasses to work?

  • Answer:

Read the manual and manufacturer web site on this. Active 3D glasses need a sync signal. If you don't get that, it won't work. Both resources mentioned should have tips on getting it to work.
