What functions would you want a DVD Storage system to do?

I am currently designing a DVD storage system which would physically store DVDs either within their case or as a disc. It would have built in Wi-Fi to automatically update your library information via scanning the barcode I want to know: -Would you prefer the unit to store your DVDs with their case or without? -What functions would you like it to accomplish i.e. Play your DVDs, Locate your DVDs etc. - What functions would the interface have? i.e. how would they be sorted into catagories, would you like it to suggest DVDs from your collection, would you want an app for your iphone which lists everything you have in your collection etc. Any suggestions regarding the functions are welcome Many thanks
