My plasma tv & sat. box have hdmi outputs. my onkyo reciever doesn't what's the best hook up for best picture?

7.1 onky reciever, satellite box and tv all component and optical outputs.

Answer:
You will have an HDMI cable from your sat. box to your plasma sending the video. Then, you will have an optical audio cable from your sat. box to your AV receiver. This is the only way, since your receiver does not have HDMI connections. This is the way I have it set up and it works fine. Great video quality and surround sound for HD shows.
